Excellent, with poor office scheduling
As someone who still I'd young enough to work scheduling an appointment that doesn't require a day off is always a challenge. Today I find myself punctual yet waiting at least 45 minutes to be seen. At least it gives me the opportunity to type this. I gave myself a 4 hour window to recover from the eye muscle relaxing drops to see at work. Now that's down to 3 let's hope that's enough for a quality inspector...

I have been going to Bethlehem Eye Associates since 2012. I have been seen by Dr. Grosso most of the time, for Cataracts and Posterior Capsulotomy, plus regular exams. In addition to Dr. Grosso, I have also had positive experiences with other doctors from Bethlehem Eye Associates to perform surgeries for an Eyelid Lift, a Partially Torn Retina, exams to deal with the routine floaters and flashers, glasses. Also, my wife has seen Dr. Grosso for her regular exams, and a recent Iridotomy. They have joked with us, cared for us, recommended procedures, and discussed options and alternatives. I am a football Giants fan, but Dr. Grosso like the Steelers, and Dr. Goldstein likes the Buffalo Bills. Overall, I trust Dr. Grosso, and Bethlehem Eye Associates for my eye care.

I had a history of retinal tears in both eyes that had been treated but my former opthalmologist didnt want to do cataract surgery because I was a higher risk, also said I would not be happy with multifocal cataract lenses, why waste money. I was 56 and could no longer drive in poor light due to cataracts. Dr. Grosso performed my surgery and recommended the multifocal lenses, and I am so happy with my vision. I need no glasses at all now and have excellent crisp vision and no complications.

I had cataract surgery and lasik done by Dr Grosso. He does not hold your hand but he gets the job done and well. I also had cornea abrasions when he was on call and he got right back to me. If you need a therapist don't go to an eye doctor. I have moved since and can no longer go to Dr Grosso. The eye doctor I saw was more patient friendly but did a lousy job on my exam. I would take Dr Grosso anytime- he gets the job done and quite well .

Rude, arrogant and one of the worst doctors I've ever encountered. Spent most of the visit talking about a new surgery he's doing and trying to talk me into it, after I said several times I had absolutely no interest. Such a poor experience. Cancelled my follow up appointment right away.

This man came into the room like a tornado with no pleasantry or warm greeting. His communication was very rehearsed and clipped - making be feel like patient #19204 instead of a person. He spent VERY little time with me and was so arrogant and condescending. I wouldn't recommend him at all.

I was a patient of Beth Eye Assoc for 9 yrs & wanted Lasik. Dr Grosso was the Lasik specialist so I spoke with him 6 times in order to make the decision. He was very easy to get in touch with and communicate with prior to the procedure. I upgraded the Lasik so that I would be certain to not have problems with. Once the Lasik was completed the initial follow up was good but, when I inquired as to why I could not see very well, Dr G was rude and short of time. B careful Would not recommend him!

This doctor came in the exam room, never even introduced himself. He looked at each of my eyes for about 1 second. When I went to pay my copay I was told it was $30 higher. The receptionist said it was because it wasn't a regular eye exam; I apparently had a cataract. At no time did Dr. Grosso inform me of this. When I questioned the receptionist, she went and talked to the doctor. She stated they would accept my original copay. I asked if I had a cataract, but the doctor wouldn't talk to me!
