I would not go to him again if I were to go blind
I saw him at Pocono Eye in East Stroudsburg, PA. I was having a lot of trouble with my eyes. Of course, I heard the usual, I had blepharitis. He never asked me about health conditions. I had been feeling unwell with some kind of inflammation which apparently was affecting my eyes. I asked if I could have had thyroid eye disease. I was practically laughed out of the office, with ridicule. The nurse or whatever she was, grabbed my Pataday eye drops out of my hand, only to say, 'Oh, you're using this?'. Well, guess what Dr. Baloh, I didn't have blepharitis. I found out I had been allergic to BAK in drops and it was causing constant irritation. I haven't had a problem since only using PF drops. I found out afterward I had been battling costochondritis and covid which were causing me physical distress and inflammation. I had a right to ask if I could have had TED without contempt. Some lousy eye expert you are, you don't even know when someone's eyes are reacting to eye drop preservatives.

Ptosis surgery
He and his team created very clear expectations about the timeline and the impact of this procedure. I could not be happier with the results. Dr Baloh and his team are excellent.

Excellent! in 2014 her removed a chalasion from my left lower lid, and it healed up beautifully. He told me ahead of time that I might end up permanently losing a couple eyelashes, which I did, but if that concerned me, we could do a followup surgery. But I really don't care; there is no scar at all. I had to see him recently again to update a prescription for Restasis, which he had prescribed for me to prevent future surgeries, which it has, plus making my eyes on a daily basis feel a million percent better.

I was referred to Dr. Baloh by my family Dr. for a basal cell carcinoma just below my left eye. After having the carcinoma removed by the surgeon, Dr. Baloh took over from there. During my office visits with him, he really made me fell at ease. He was upfront with me about the possible outcomes, and made me feel more comfortable when he told me that he could cure me of this cancer. The surgery , recovery and outcome all went great. 6 months later, you cant tell anything was done ( he said that would be the case). My family doctor was amazed at the outcome as well. He is very well respected in the medical community. I was very fortunate to have been referred to him.

It was my first visit with Dr. Baloh regarding ptosis. I was referred by Dr. Bausch. After taking measurements and explaining what he was doing and what potential surgery would entail, he answered all of the questions I had. I have an appointment for additional testing, which will determine my eligibility for surgery. Dr. Baloh is approachable, friendly, informed, and professional. I would recommend Dr. Baloh.

Disappointed. Both my husband and I saw Dr. Baloh for different eyelid issues. We found him to be very limited in his knowledge and skill level. He performed 3 surgeries on my husband's eyelids. None of the surgeries helped. He still suffers from ptosis. I was referred to him by 3 of my physicians for swollen eyelids and he said he didn't know how to help me and couldn't refer me to a doctor who could.

Dr. Frank Baloh was recommended by O.D. Scott Huggler when I had my eye examination. When I talked to my friends and relatives, I was informed by some of them that they also had Dr. Baloh and were pleased with their results. I can now join them in being pleased with my results. from my first and second appointments, the surgery, and my 3rd and 4th appointments, everything I was told was right on the money.
