He Cares
I have had the pleasure of Dr Gousse and his staff caring for me and putting me on a path for healing. The front desk staff are so very special! We are on a first name basis and I feel I am visiting family when I arrive.

SCAM Doctor
Front desk staff doesnt want to help, gentlemen at front desk was high and giving me attitude. I have had countless visits that were virtually pointless. I had several telehealth visits, where they called to confirm my appointment about 10 times before each. Only to not call me. This place is a total scam. They do not want to help you. They just want to bill your insurance. Doctor Gousse is never even there. I will be reporting to the DOH. Do not get scammed by this doctor and his practice. Go somewhere where they want you to get better and where they want to help you.

MEDTRONIC INTERSTIM Placement & Removal
I had a Medtronic Interstim placement in 2005 went to Dr. Gousse several times, and had severe pain and redness around the placement incision site. Dr. Gousse did surgery in 2006 to remove the interstim, and came to find out there was an infection at the site. Approximately, six months later I still had severe pain around the removal site, went back to Dr. Gousse 3 times, and he stated he would see what could be done. Finally, Dr. Gousse set up the surgery, when I came in for my pre-op visit, he and the office told me that I would have to pay for the operation. Who has that kind of money to pay for an operation that Dr. Gousse caused? Still, in 2024 I have severe pain at the bladder interstim placement site.Would I recommend Dr. Gousse, not a chance in down under. Only if you want pain & misery for the rest of your life!!!!!

Dr Gousee and his staff are unprofessional & Rude
I highly advise against seeing this doctor. His focus is solely on profiting from surgeries for erectile dysfunction (ED), while neglecting his duties as a regular urologist. The doctor and his staff exhibit unprofessionalism, and Dr. Gousse's bedside manner is quite awful. Despite visiting this office for kidney issues for nearly three years, I only encountered the doctor once, and his behavior that day was rude and unprofessional. Neither him nor his staff took the time to explain my condition or investigate the underlying causes; instead, it was always a matter of returning in three months to see if everything remained the same. Now that I have moved away from Florida and require copies of my medical records, I have called them over ten times without receiving a single call back. Even now, as I try to obtain my records, they persistently come up with excuses as to why they cannot send them to me. I only give him one star in order to post my review, however, he truly does not even de

We had an online visit, he charged us $200 made up a report that showed he had not read a single of the results of all the tests of the past year we had sent him. We spoke to him and his office again, they both said they were gonna read them and send a new report and next steps which never happened even though we made several follow-up calls to his office His office kept calling us every week to confirm an appointment that we have never scheduled since we live out of the US and needed that report to organize our trip here. We explain them this on every single one of the seven calls they made trying to confirm this non-existing appointment and every single time they completely ignored what we were saying. A complete lack of respect and he clearly does not give a heck about a patient that has been sitting in a wheelchair over 15 years and has serious UTI problems Dr you should be ashamed of yourself.

BAD EXPERIENCE
May be he is a Good Doctor, as per the tittles and videos you can see during the eternal long wait times (be prepared to spend 3-4 hours). But if you are waiting for a dedicated Dr. this is not the place. The way I was treatted during a very unconfortable exam was humilliating and mercilless, unfortunately it's a business machine of appointments. No dedication, high high bills, high copays.

This office has the single worst support and service of any doctor I've ever been to in my entire life. I've had to call the doctor office back no less than 100 times for a simple prescription need. The doctor doesn't keep virtual visit appointments. The office staff regularly says they will submit prescriptions, or call me back or have office manager call me back, and they never follow through. This office provides horrible support. Stay away to avoid severe anguish.

The WPB office is horribly run and mismanaged. I've been unsuccessful in getting my personal medical records despite dive separate attempts to do so..I've also been charged for a Tele Conference that never occurred so I had to notify my bank of the erroneous charge. I'm changing plans so I can find another urology office.

Experience 1) My FIRST visit to Gouse Urology they charged me at the front desk 200.00 co pay when in fact my insurance company details all say that my co pay is 100.00. I asked the front desk WHY and they couldn't furnish me with an explanation. I complained and lodged a formal complaint with my insurance company. Experience 2) I arranged to have a teleconference call for later that same day with the Office Manager and she instructed me to stand by for the incoming call later that same day. NEVER got the call. When I called them to ask why the entire office was gone for the day and the operator couldn't help me. Experience 3) I made another appointment and confirmed it the day prior for the next day Tele Conference call. They were quick to take my Co Pay and told me to hang up for an incoming call to discuss my blood test results and I should be getting a call in a few minutes. Once again I got no phone call so when I call back the office was gone and the young lady who answered the

Dr Gousse bed side manner is terrible. I have IC I have seen him over the last 10 years he acted like he didn’t even know me and handed me his business card. He did the procedure like I wasn’t even alive or a person. He didn’t even address me as he left the room, but spoke to his fellow “come I want to show the X-ray of …”. I would never go back to him again. My bladder went into spasm immediately. I hope he never has a doctor treat him in that matter!

I came in to see Dr. Gousse, because I was having a sudden issue with retention. I was never told over the phone that I would not be seeing the actual doctor. I was scheduled with an assistant who hardly spoke and was not fully trained to place a Catheter. I was asked to wait an hour for Dr. Gousse to get out of surgery, in order for him to place a Catheter in me. I was asked to return in 4 days, I thought I would finally be able to speak with the actual Doctor, again I was scheduled with an assistant. Be aware that this office is run by assistants while Dr. Gousse spends the entire day out doing surgeries. Aside from that the assistant gave me wrong information, scared me and told me I would need to self catheter my entire life. They were completely wrong. I went to see an actual Urologist and they were able to run all the appropriate tests on me and with a tiny procedure in office I was cured. Anyone needing immediate help book an appt at a different office with an actual Urologist!

I have been with Dr. Gousse for over 10 years and I absolutely adore and respect him and how he has been able to help me. Unfortunately, the practice's downfall is 100% the administration side of it. I do not doubt that we all get "busy" but as a patient, I too am busy, but I take my time to make the calls in order to be proactive. The staff tends to be rude, unsympathetic, inefficient. Messages are not relayed correctly and you find yourself repeating the matter various times to multiple people. I end up feeling like a burden solely because of the lack of patient service from the office.

Doctor Gousse has been my Urologist for about one year. I have seen him four times, including today. I would recommend him without hesitation. I am 58 years old, and have been under a Urologist’s care in Birmingham, AL and New York City, for the past 20 years before I moved back to South Florida. Doctor Gousse is, by far, the best Urologist who’s treated me. He is knowledgeable; but more than anything else, he cares; he takes the time to understand his patients as individuals; he takes the time to make sure you understand your options. In my case, he suggested the most conservative treatment but left the door open to change course if needed. If you are looking for a Urologist and you live in. South Florida, you can’t go wrong with him. He will exceed your expectations. If you’re already his patient, then you know how good he is.
