Dr. Ajay Kuriyan, MD

5 years ago Dr. Kuriyan performed my surgery for my detached retina. From the very beginning, he has been a kind and compassion man. He does everything to make me feel comfortable and relaxed. He answers any questions I have, and explains things so I understand. I see him annually to check my eyes. I can't say enough about him; his knowledge, compassion and kindness are wonderful.

Dr.Kuriyan is an excellent Doctor very caring and helpful, he always listens to any concerns and will help in any way possible. I highly recommend him

Although the wait times for treatment can vary, I appreciate the time and diligence and pleasantness of Dr. Kuriyan. He is warm and welcoming and knows his stuff!

Dr Kuriyan treats my wet MD every 5-6 weeks with injections in both eyes. He is such a nice person. He always checks to see how I’m doing, very down to earth and so easy to talk with. Overtime he has pushed with insurance companies for the strongest meds for my eyes to get them to the best possible level of vision. Getting injections isnt ideal but Dr Kuriyan makes the experience pleasant by his gentle nature and genuine care for my eyes. I trust him and wouldn’t want any other doctor treating my eyes.

Dr Kuriyan always makes my visits for my highly delicate retina issues much more bearable and pleasant. Dr Kuriyan is a great communicator. I rely on his excellent communication, repetition and I appreciate his professionalism. As a patient with chronic eye issues I’m thankful to have a doctor willing to be honest and truthful about my diagnosis and treatment options. Dr Kuriyan has a great bedside manner and should be a training model for how healthcare professionals should interact with their patients. All of my appointments are in the Cherry Hill office and I’ve noticed that there are large framed photos of all the doctors except Dr Kuriyan in the front lobby. This should be fixed right away.

Dr K, helped me in a time I had no clue what was going on. My lens dislocated in both eyes and it was rare for my age. His surgical skill was amazing and his follow up was supportive and comforting. His staff is friendly and amazing also. I am glad I found him and he’s my eye surgeon!

Dr. Kuriyan and his staff were extremely professional and kind. I had a retinal vitreous detachment which he recognized and laser immediately. I don’t trust my vision to anyone but he is the absolute best. I know i am in good hands when visiting his office!
