He himself is a great doctor .. however waiting 90 minutes when I had an appointment is ridiculous. I will look for somewhere else to go

Dr. Covey was exceptional during my visit with him. He has a positive demeanor and great bedside manner. I did not feel rushed throughout my appointment as he took the time to listen to my concerns in and empathetic manner.

Dr. Covey takes the time to listen and discuss the plan moving forward. He has great recall and gives alternate treatments options that are available.

Very professional! Dr Covey had repaired my rotator cuff and this was the first post operation appointment. He took the time to explain the next steps in my recovery. He went over the temporary limitations and what I can do at this time. He described the surgical repair in layman terms. He provided clear explanation of the physical therapy required going forward post op.

Dr Covey combines outstanding medical knowledge with a real life approach and a caring, heartfelt delivery.

From the moment I walked in till I left everyone I met was courteous. The Dr. listened to me and took the time to explain the reasons for my pain.

Dr. Covey provided excellent care with my shoulder surgery and answered all my questions.

The experience I had with Dr. Covey was nothing short of fantastic. I felt extremely comfortable in his care! He spent time with me and was very empathetic with my needs and concerns. I've seen him with a couple orthopedic concerns in the past and the outcomes were always successful. I had a total knee replacement this year on March 12, 2024 and I was back at work in 6 weeks. Minimal pain and minimal scaring. It all went smooth and Dr Covey made me feel so relaxed about the whole procedure. (I'm very nervous about medical issues), but thanks to him I was so calm!I really hit the jack pot with him! Thank you Dr. Covey!

This is my second appointment with him. He makes me feel very comfortable and I happen to like him a lot. He gives me a very good vibe.

This was a catastrophic event for me and a routine visit for him. He spent at most 2 minutes with me and never even examined me.

I'm a senior and in my 4th month of recovery from 'Total Shoulder replacement' surgery by Dr. Covey. I'm very happy with the outcome. Dr. Covey's professionalism inspired confidence and his clarity about the importance of my part in a successful outcome motivated me to follow his instructions for the post operation recovery work.

When I saw Doctor Covey in early January of 2022 for the first time, I was there to evaluate my arthritic hip. Within minutes after my X-ray he was suggesting total hip replacement surgery dates at the end of January or February. I was very surprised by the speed of the whole thing. I felt rushed through, but I scheduled a surgery, and continued getting opinions. I rescheduled a couple of times and did a lot of research. I even went back to him to ask more questions, but he seemed quite annoyed that I was asking questions, especially questions about hip resurfacing, which is a surgery he says he used to perform. He declared that anything good about resurfacing I had heard was just marketing. Clearly he wanted me to think that, because he does not do that surgery. At that point, I just canceled and kept looking. I ended up going to the Hospital for Special Surgery in Manhattan. Dr Edwin Su did a resurfacing for me, and It is like my hip never had a problem; it is perfect.

Dr. Covey is very personable and always takes time to talk to you and to explain what your issue may be and what he can do for you. I've been seeing Dr. Covey for around 20 years and trust his expertise.

Dr. Covey is very personable and compassionate. He gets to the heart of the problem and is quick to help you find a solution. Definitely worth the wait.
