With all the changes in government regulations and insurance coverage, you really need to love what you do to make it sufficiently rewarding. I've always loved what I do, and that's a big part of what matters to my patients.`` Georgetown University provided both the educational framework and early medical training for Dr. Osman; it was there that he received a Bachelor of Science (with honors), earned his Doctor of Medicine and completed an internship in Transitional Medicine. He went on to do his residency in Ophthalmology at the Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore and a fellowship in Vitreoretinal Diseases and Surgery with the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. Dr. Osman is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is licensed in Virginia, Maryland and Washington, D.C. He is affiliated with Washington Hospital Center, Georgetown University Hospital, Inova Fairfax Hospital, Virginia Hospital Center and Friendship Surgery Center. His academic appointments include a current position as Clinical Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Washington Hospital Center, and he previously served as part of the Vitreoretinal faculty at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio.
