Biography: Michael J. Wilson MD, FACP is board certified in Cardiovascular Disease. He practices with Methodist Physicians RiverCity CardioVascualr. Dr. Wilson specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of Cardiovascular Disease.Dr. Wilson is a graduate of the College of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Minnesota Medical School in Minneapolis. He completed his Residency and Internship in Internal Medicine at the University of Kentucky in Lexington. Dr. Wilson went on to complete his Cardiovascular Medicine Fellowship at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas.Dr. Wilson says, Cardiology practice is the privilege of partnering with my patients, diagnosing and managing their cardiovascular disorders, and providing them educational and other resources, so they can improve their heart health and general wellness. In his spare time he enjoy being with family and friends, gardening, traveling, and reading.

He practices with Methodist Physicians RiverCity CardioVascular.Dr. Mokwe says, Being a cardiologist is an immediate gratification. I like the acuity of cardiology and being able to find a resolution for my patients. Dr. Mokwe is a graduate of McMaster University in Hamilton Ontario, Canada. He earned his Doctor of Medicine at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. He completed his residency and internship at Wayne State University at Detroit Medical Center. He went on to complete his Cardiology Fellowship at the University of New Mexico Division of Cardiology in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Dr. Mokwe is Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Cardiovascular Disease. In his spare time Dr. Mokwe enjoys reading, playing chess and football.
