Biography: Dr. Hammad Aziz is a board-certified, fellowship-trained interventional cardiologist practicing at TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center located in Smyrna, Tennessee. Along with providing general and interventional care for patients, he is fellowship-trained in cardiac imaging including echocardiography, CT and nuclear cardiology. Dr. Azi's desire is to provide the best possible health care possible while working with his patients as a team to achieve their goals. By doing this, he hopes this will lead to greater patient satisfaction and better outcomes Dr. Aziz earned his medical degree from King Edward Medical University, Pakistan, and completed his residency in internal medicine at Crozer-Chester Medical Center, Temple University in Upland, Pennsylvania. After residency, Dr. Aziz completed his fellowship in cardiac imaging at Yale New Haven VA Hospital, West Haven, New Haven, Connecticut. He completed his fellowship in general cardiology at the Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center in Richmond, Virginia, and his fellowship in interventional cardiology from the University of Connecticut/Hartford Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut.
