Biography: Frank Dorsa, MD, FACC, is board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease.Dr. Dorsa graduated from New York University and received his medical degree from the Autonomous University of Guadalajara. He completed a fellowship at the Noninvasive Cardiology Laboratory at New York University Medical Center.

Biography: Dr. Joseph M. Lee MD MS FACC RPVI FASE is a board certified cardiologist and cardiac electrophysiologist who has a keen interest in echocardiography and electrophysiology. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine and biweekly echocardiography panel reader at the New York-Presbyterian/ Columbia University Irving Medical Center. He is the Medical Director of vascular ultrasound at the Columbia Doctors Medical Group (CDMG) and Columbia Doctors of the Hudson Valley (CDHV) ICAVL certified laboratories. Dr. Lee earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and a Master of Science in Biological Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and he currently serves as a MIT Educational Counselor. In the Tannenbaum laboratory, he published his graduate research thesis on nitric oxide mediated oxidative stress and he subsequently went on to complete medical school at the Temple University School of Medicine, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor society. Dr. Lee completed his residency and fellowships in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology and Advanced Cardiovascular Imaging all at the New York-Presbyterian Hospital/ Weill Cornell Medical Center. During his three fellowships, he achieved expert proficiency in vascular ultrasound and nuclear cardiology and Level III specializations in Comprehensive Echocardiography and Electrophysiology. Dr. Lee is board certified and has maintained recertification in Cardiovascular Disease, Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology, Comprehensive Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology, Vascular Ultrasound, Hypertension, and Internal Medicine. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC), Fellow Registered Physician of Vascular Interpretation (RPVI) and Fellow of the American Society of Echocardiography (FASE). After completing his advanced imaging fellowship, Dr. Lee joined Columbia University Irving Medical Center as a cardiovascular consultant and teaching faculty. He has written questions for the RPVI national vascular board exam, co-authored several peer-reviewed articles in medical journals and textbooks and presented at both national conferences and community events. He serves as a cardiovascular consultant and core panel reader for cardiac device management, vascular ultrasound, echo and nuclear cardiac imaging at the CDMG and CDHV academic faculty practices for the greater New York community. Dr. Lee has been an employee at the New-York-Presbyterian Hospital since 2005. In addition to providing cutting edge cardiovascular care individualized for each patient, Dr. Lee also promotes and practices the maintenance of an optimal lifestyle, diet and exercise to enhance one's own health and well-being. He currently plays competitive tennis (NTRP rated 4.5) and trains in martial arts. He lives with his family in New York.

Biography: Kerry A. Esquitin, MD, FACC, FASE, FACP, RPVI is an Associate Professor of Medicine at Columbia University Irving Medical Center with clinical expertise in general cardiology and cardiovascular imaging. Her academic work is dedicated to medical education. Dr. Esquitin is the Director of the Advanced Echocardiography Fellowship Program at CUIMC. She is an Associate Program Director of both the Cardiology Fellowship and Internal Medicine Residency Programs. At the Columbia Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, Dr. Esquitin is Section Director of Cardiology in The Bodyin Health and Disease course.Dr. Esquitin's clinical expertise in general cardiology includes management of hypertension, cholesterol disorders, coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, heart failure and other cardiomyopathies. Dr. Esquitin provides comprehensive, individualized care to each of her patients and places an emphasis on nutrition and fitness as part of a heart-healthy lifestyle. At the medical center, Dr. Esquitin is an attending in the Cardiovascular Ultrasound Laboratory. She is highly skilled in transthoracic echocardiography (TTE), transesophageal echocardiography (TEE), stress echocardiography, 3D imaging, and vascular ultrasound.Dr. Esquitin completed her undergraduate studies at Cornell University and was recognized as a Graduate with Distinction. She earned her medical degree at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine and completed her residency training at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center, where she received the Eileen Gong Weiner Award for Compassionate Care. Dr. Esquitin pursued her fellowship in cardiovascular diseases at Beth Israel Medical Center, followed by advanced training in echocardiography at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Dr. Esquitin holds leadership roles in the American College of Physicians (ACP): at the national level, she sits on the Internal Medicine Scientific Planning Committee to develop the cardiology content for the ACP Annual Meetings (2021, 2023). Regionally, she is an active member of the Education Committee for the New York chapter of the ACP. Dr. Esquitin has been invited to national and regional conferences hosted by the American College of Physicians and the Cardiovascular Research Foundation to speak on topics related to cardiovascular disease. As a highly regarded medical educator, Dr. Esquitin was awarded Teacher of the Year in the Division of Cardiology in 2016 and she is recognized as a Ewig Clinical Scholar in the Department of Medicine at Columbia University Irving Medical Center.
