For several years, she performed extensive research in the field of mental health, particularly bipolar disorder. She has worked on numerous studies and has multiple publications. In 2013, she earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from The Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Upon completion of her pediatrics residency at Inova Children's Hospital, she joined the Virginia Pediatric Group for 4 years before joining Reston Town Center Pediatrics in 2020.
