Dr. Lutta is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon with a special interest in treatment of problems involving the foot and ankle. He graduated cum laude with a degree in Biology from Clark University in Worcester, MA. He earned his medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, DC, where he was named to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at Howard University Hospital and went on to a fellowship in foot and ankle reconstruction at the University of Pennsylvania.

He has presented his research at national conferences and has published book chapters and scientific articles in journals including The American Journal of Sports Medicine.Dr. Gallagher utilizes cutting edge techniques including patient-specific-instrumentation for ankle arthroplasty, which uses a CT scan and a personalized plan to ensure a more reliable and efficient replacement. Additionally, he performs a minimally invasive approach to multiple conditions including Achilles injuries, bunion correction and hindfoot reconstruction.Dr. Gallagher's priority is to find strategies that keep his patients on their feet. After earning a BA in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Novak received his medical degree from Georgetown University where he was named a member of Alpha Omega Alpha, the National Medical Honor Society. He remained in Washington, DC, at Georgetown University Medical Center to complete a residency in orthopaedic surgery. He then completed advanced fellowship training in sports medicine and arthroscopy at the Southern California Orthopedic Institute in Van Nuys, California. Dr. Novak worked intensively with some of the best sports and arthroscopic surgeons in the country during his fellowship training and today is able to perform advanced arthroscopic techniques for a number of orthopaedic problems.
