Travis Austin Doering, MD, received his undergraduate education from Amherst College with a bachelor of the arts in biology and computer science. Prior to attending medical school, he performed two years of immunology research at the University of Pennsylvania, focusing on bioinformatics.Dr. Doering received his medical degree from the Barbara and Donald Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra University in 2015, graduating with a distinction in research, and completed his internship in general surgery (2016) and four-year residency in orthopedic surgery (2020) at Northwell Health, where he served his final year as chief resident.During his residency, Dr. Doering earned several accolades including Resident of the Year in 2017. Dr. Greg Westmoreland is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and fellowship trained Sports Medicine specialist in South and Northwest Austin. Dr. Westmoreland grew up in the Houston area and graduated Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Baylor University with a degree in Biology.
