Dr. Kancherla spent a good deal of time reviewing my case and providing suggestions for a viable solution. He listened to my concerns and addressed them with patience.

I've been seeing Dr. Kancherla for about two years for lower back pain. He never rushes our appointments, is respectful, and listens. And he always explains options to me. I like him.

Suffering from lower back pain from degenerative disease, Dr. Kancherla helped my pain go from an 8/10 to 1/10 with a steroid injection.

I drove 50 minutes across town for an epidural on 10/11 only to be told my visit with Dr Kancherla would be over $700. I assured them I was at my deductible for the year but they insisted I was not. Then they tried to negotiate with me that they would do the procedure for $180. I still declined. Then I drove another 50 min all the way home and they called me to tell me that they would do it for $90 in his office and not the surgery center. I felt like the entire thing was a shakedown for money. They also had the spine injection levels incorrect which was very concerning. I cannot speak to Dr Kancherla as a doctor as I never actually saw him, but the entire experience with the front office was unprofessional. They could have saved me a half day of vacation pay and an almost 2 hr rd trip visit with a phonecall. I won't be going back to Texas Ortho ever again.

Texas Ortho Austin billed my insurance ridiculously and they have claimed a cortisone injection/shot as a surgery

I started seeing Dr. Kancherla shortly after I moved here in 1913. Ten years later I still choose him as my pain management doctor. He has always been professional but friendly as have his assistants. I highly recommend Dr Kancherla is you have back pain, sciatica, inflamed bursars, and any other pain you might be experiencing.

I’ve been seeing Dr.Kancherla for several months for a variety of procedures to alleviate my low back pain! I just had a trial spinal cord stimulator placed and wow! Amazing pain relief and simple procedure! If you’re on the fence about this procedure, I highly recommend! Dr. Kancherla is very kind and compassionate as are the rest of his staff!

I saw him several years ago au Austin ADC for a painful shoulder pain for which he succcessfully treated by injection. I would like to see him as I have the same pain on my left shoulder. He is a great doctor I trust him.
