After graduating from St. John's School, she attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as a Morehead-Cain scholar, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry and a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in History.Dr. Sara Fallon received her medical degree and completed her residency in General Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine. During her residency, she spent two years performing clinical research at Texas Children's Hospital, focusing on quality improvement, patient-centered outcomes, and hospital-wide projects in appendicitis, gastrointestinal diseases, and spontaneous pneumothorax research.During that time, she received a Masters in Clinical Science (MS) at McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth), focusing on advanced statistics and clinical trial design.After obtaining her MS, Dr. Fallon completed her pediatric surgery fellowship at Texas Children's Hospital (TCH) and a second fellowship in Pediatric critical care, also at TCH.
