He is such a nice Dr. Great bedside manor as well. I would strongly recommend him to anyone of my friends, family, or co- workers. The staff that works with him is also wonderful.

I recently had a colonoscopy and EGD by this Doctor at the Medical Center Endoscopy. It was a terrible experience by both Dr. Urrutia and the center. Never again for either of them. We had never met and he was not interested in meeting me, knowing my complicated medical history or the 40 medications I am on! The biopsies he took were done in a shoddy manner as he threw multiple random colon biopsies entirely submitted in one cassette.

I think Dr. Urrutia is one of the best gastroenterologists in the city of Houston, even his peers agree! He is highly preofessional and truly cares about his patients and their welfare. Most people don't like getting scopes but his wonderful demeanor and bedside manner make it easy and his knowledge in his craft should put anyone at ease. Let's be honest, the worst part is the prep and you take care of that at home!
