Dr. Peter Cobb has been a physician with TriStar Health since 1999 and in practice for more than twenty years. Dr. Cobb earned his medical degree at the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine before completing both an internship and residency at Columbus Regional Healthcare System in Columbus, Georgia. Dr. Cobb is an active member of his church and enjoys playing golf, soccer and softball when he is not practicing medicine. He and his wife have three children and are happy to serve the Murfreesboro community.

He graduated from Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia and Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee. He completed his residency training at UAB School of Medicine in Huntsville, Alabama.

I have a philosophy of "lowest effective dose" when it comes to medications and treatments to make sure I am treating my patient's symptoms/concerns without causing unnecessary side effects that can sometimes be more dangerous than the original concern.
