Dr. Joshua Hixson, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Hixson since he opened his practice in Smyrna. He is a very thorough and efficient doctor who has mastered being busy but always focusing on his patients with kindness and compassion. I live over an hour away from his practice now but will keep him as my Doctor as long as he will have me. He is the best!

Great Dr listens to his patients

We have used Dr. Hixson shortly after he began working at Stone Crest. My recent visit was a routine six month check. He is an excellent doctor and has always been able to determine what to do to solve my various medical problems. When he felt I needed to see a specialist didn't hesitate to recommend that. I feel that if it were not for him I probably wouldn't alive today.

I made a non regular request for an appointment. I was seen within 1 1/2 hours. My wait was only about 5 minutes and I was seen by Dr. Hixson within 15 minutes. He listened to my symptoms and was able to diagnose and prescribe medication. I was very pleased.

Dr. Hixson has been my MD for several years and has taken great care of me.He has also helped me get my medications at as economical price as possible.

Check up

I visited Dr Hixon for a routine annual check-up and only expected to deal with the RN. To my pleasant surprise the good doctor took time out to discuss health matters with me and what I could and should do to get to healthier weight without sounding judgmental. Dr Hixon even provided sources to look up to treat my recurring tendonitis without having to have PT or surgery. I am never disappointed when I visit Dr Hixon and his staff. They are always friendly no matter how busy or time of the day. I highly recommend anyone to have Dr Hixon as their physician.

It’s great to have an office with the upmost professionalism. They not only take care of my current situations but they also look to the future to make sure I can stay as healthy as possible. Awesome and caring doctor

This is my normal doctor. I was stung by several wasps while cutting grass. I was able to call in on a Friday morning and get an appointment. They had fast and friendly service. I am glad this is my provider.

I have put my life in the hands of Dr Hixson for many years now. I am very happy with Dr Hixson and think he is an excellent physician.He takes time to listen to me. I would and have recommended him to several people.
