I am lucky to have had the opportunity to train under brilliant thinkers and exceptional role models from whom I have learned the importance of ensuring that each patient truly understands his or her diagnosis and the rationale behind treatment. I am excited to be joining the Department of Hematology at Weill Cornell and look forward to continuing in clinical investigations in hopes of improving diagnosis and treatment in the fields of thrombosis and immune thrombocytopenia. One of the most gratifying aspects of practicing at Weill Cornell has been the close collaborations with talented clinicians and scientists in the diagnosis and management of complex blood disorders. Dr. Landres offers expertise in all aspects of high risk obstetrics, performs obstetric ultrasound, prenatal diagnosis procedures including amniocentesis, and cerclage placement. Her special interests include management of diabetes in pregnancy, hypertensive disorders, autoimmune disorders and fetal growth restriction. Dr. Landres is committed to providing high quality, compassionate care and supporting her patients throughout pregnancy and post-partum.

Dr. Pri-Paz has stated that the move to join the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College under the guidance of Dr. Frank Chervenak, the Department Chair, is a natural one for him. Dr. Pri-Paz believes in working with his patients to develop a relationship centered around the primary focus of their health. He strives to accomplish this by open communication--listening to patients' needs and providing them with the necessary information and care--so they can make the best possible choices and receive the best possible care.

I have been Service Chief of the BenignHematology Service in the Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology since 2006. As a clinician, my main interest is in the care of patients with thrombotic and bleeding disorders. As a researcher who conducts clinical trials in Benign Hematology, my interest is in thrombosis and hemostasis, specifically thrombophilic disorders and women's health issues. It is my hope that through dedication to the care of each individual patient, and dedication to research that will ultimately improve that care, we will meet our overall mission of helping our patients to have a better quality of life.

Dr. Julianne Lauring is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Maternal-Fetal Medicine. She graduated from Boston University and received her M.D. from the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology and her fellowship in maternal-fetal medicine at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center.She was the Associate Residency Program Director for OB/GYN at Umass Chan Medical school from 2018 to 2020. She was awarded the faculty teaching award at Umass Memorial Health in 2019. She assumed the role of Maternity Center Medical Director at Umass Memorial Health in 2020. During her time, she implemented a significant number of quality improvement projects that improved patient care and patient experience.She is excited to join the team at Weill Cornell Medicine to continue the ongoing work. She is particularly interested in improving the ways we provide care while also enhancing the patient experience and reducing health disparities.
