Dr. Po Fong, MD

I saw Dr. Fong for my first baby. I was an FTM and in hindsight there were red flags. She consistently made choices for me and communicated after or last minute. We would have an appt and ask questions and at the end she would say “ok, I scheduled your induction for this date, see you in a month!” And leave before ever explaining why or introducing this option or telling us why she recommended it. Nothing was presented as a choice, it was presented as the plan, down to having a planned c-section. But worst of all is that after my c-section, Dr. Fong and the other docs in the practice and hospital didn’t tell me that I had a complicated and traumatic surgery. I didn’t know the full extent until now having my 2nd baby. My surgeon told me that I was close to losing my uterus the first time, and I lost half my blood volume. She corrected scar tissue that formed due to the 1st surgery being complex. I’ve had issues with recovery for years and never knew why. Dr. Fong never mentioned it.

I switched to Dr Fong towards end of first trimester after my insurance dropped my previous OB. She is so lovely to speak with, funny, takes time to answer all of my questions and I truly believe she wants what’s best for me and my family, and will do anything she can to help us.

I feel so lucky to have ended up with Dr. Fong by chance as my OBGYN 4 years ago. She is kind, attentive, trustworthy, understanding, and responsive. She takes her time at every visit, addressing any and all concerns, which are a lot these days now that I am pregnant with my first child! She was always this way though, which is part of why I have stuck with her. Additionally she is just as excited about the baby and pregnancy as you are which makes you feel like more than just a patient. Extra bonus points as my husband loves her as well! She can have some longer wait times, but those are worth it considering all of the above. Crossing my fingers she'll be the one to deliver our baby girl! I cannot recommend her enough.

Dr. Fong is wonderful. I have seen her for years and trust her completely. She is caring and warm and always takes time to listen to concerns. I have recommended several friends to her and find her practice to be easy to work with.

Dr Fong is brilliant in so many ways. Not only is she highly experienced, accomplished and thorough, but she is personable, caring and always reassuring. Dr Fong saw me through my pregnancy at 47, and offered exceptional care and was always available whenever I had concerns. She is a great listener who explains everything and genuinely wants the best for her patients. I feel very grateful that she is my OBGYN. Her staff including receptionist and nurses are very efficient and respond to all inquiries or requests immediately. I'm so impressed with Dr Fong and her team, and would highly recommend her.

I've been going to Dr.Fong for over ten years and she's the nicest and most reassuring/informative doctor I've ever had. She's consistent, patient, and explains everything to me, including her reasoning and thoughts behind it. It's hard to find a doctor that I trust completely so I plan to keep her as my ob/gyn even if I move further out from the city!

Dr. Fong is a very sweet and nice person! She has so many patients, also because of this, she doesn't spend a lot of time with her patients, 10~15 minutes at the most! Always feel rushed! Always long wait in the office! Staffs are friendly!

She was very patient, kind, and willing to explain everything that was going on. She is an amazing doctor and truly cares for her patients.

Dr. Fong is an amazing doctor. She very supportive, caring, positive, listens to patients needs, dedicated, and on top of patients care. Dr. Fong has a personality that makes you excited to come to doctor office and a laugh that is contagious. I am so glad I found such an a great doctor to have during my journey of miscarriages and finally when my first pregnancy.

Dr. Fong is the best. She’s friendly, kind, and very patient. She always answers all my questions. Her staff is also wonderful. The wait time sometimes can be a little long (usually around 30-40min).

Dr. Fong's office is always busy, and still she takes the time to be present in each visit. She is knowledgeable, attentive, and I truly trust her to provide the best medical care for both myself and my kids. I saw her throughout my entire first pregnancy, and am sad to be moving away before I give birth to my second child; I feel safe in Dr. Fong's care, she listens to any complaints I have and follows up appropriately, and she has always given me helpful guidance.
