I am an emergency medicine specialist at TRIA Orthopedic Center. I graduated from the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine in 2012. I have multiple years of experience with different patient populations.

My practice focuses on sports medicine for patients from all walks of life. I thoroughly enjoy working with athletes in high school, college and beyond, as well as those who want to stay active throughout their lives. This includes treatments for everything from sprains and strains to broken bones to osteoarthritis. Utilization of ultrasound for diagnosis and ultrasound-guided procedures is a part of sports medicine that I frequently use to deliver the highest level of care for patients.

Both of my parents are in medicine, and I grew up thinking it was very cool that their jobs were to help people. I enjoy working with people, and there is nothing more satisfying than helping someone get back to doing the things they love. Patients can expect me to be fully invested in helping them reach their goals. I want my patients to feel confident in their understanding of what is going on with their health, so that they can participate in shared decision making.

I joined HealthPartners in 2012 following a sports medicine fellowship at Wake Forest University and an orthopedic residency at the University of Minnesota. My special interests include shoulder, knee, and hip arthroscopy. I enjoy basketball and was the Slam Dunk Champion at Princeton University in 2000 while an undergraduate. I live in St. Paul with my wife and seven children.
