Biography: Dr. Michael F. Maugeri was born in Teaneck, New Jersey. He attended Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Following graduation he attended dental school at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, Virginia where he graduated with honors. After earning his DDS degree Dr. Maugeri completed his internship and residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky. Dr. Maugeri is a board certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon who has been in practice in the Tidewater area since 1982. Dr. Maugeri has been happily married to Kathie since 1973 and they have three grown children, Kimberly, Michael III and Kyle. Dr. Maugeri is an instrument rated pilot who enjoys golf, tennis, water and snow skiing. His highest priorities include being with family and providing quality care for his patients.
