Biography: Dr. Alexander Greenstein is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in orthopaedic trauma. He completed his orthopaedic residency at the University of Rochester Strong Memorial Hospital where he served as the academic Chief Resident. During his residency, he also completed a research fellowship at the Center for Musculoskeletal Research at the University of Rochester. Dr. Greenstein then went on to complete an orthopaedic trauma fellowship at the world-renowned Campbell Clinic in Memphis, Tennessee. Dr. Greenstein specializes in minimally invasive orthopaedic trauma surgical techniques, the treatment of complex fractures, and advanced bone reconstructive procedures. Dr. Greenstein strongly believes in taking care of every patient like they're his family. The complexities of musculoskeletal care require an individualized approach, respecting patients' autonomy. By gaining a thorough understanding of his patients' needs and expectations as well as offering a wide range of appropriate options, from conservative measures to the most advanced surgical techniques, he helps patients understand complex problems so that they can make the best decisions for themselves. Biography: J. Conner Ryan, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee replacements at Texas Joint Institute in Dallas, Plano and Frisco. A Dallas native, Dr. Ryan attended The University of North Carolina Chapel Hill as an undergraduate and received his B.A. in History before earning his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. After graduating at the top of his class, Dr. Ryan continued his education in San Antonio, where he completed a residency in orthopaedic surgery, receiving a well-rounded education in musculoskeletal care. Finally, he completed his fellowship in adult reconstruction at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, where he had the opportunity to train with leaders in the field of hip and knee replacement. Dr. Ryan has given several presentations and has been published for research in his field. He is affiliated with several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery, American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, and Texas Medical Association. Dr. Ryan is married to an interior designer, with whom he has four children. He enjoys watching and playing all sports (notably golf), fishing, hunting, traveling, staying active, and spending time with his wife, Page, and their children.
