Run away with your money and time.
Surgeon is good but forget about post surgery follow up. The surgeon does not have time to see the patient once surgery is over. Good luck.

Diabetes Disclosure
I had to fire Dr. Tucker this morning. From my fist appointment in August 2023, he knew I was a type 2 diabetic. Not once did he or his staff tell me my A-1C had to be at a certain level or they would not do the knee replacement. My A-1C is within .2 of THEIR requirement. It’s imperative that the surgery happen this year for insurance to pay 100%. I have changed orthopedic surgeons. My knew one has no issue with my A-1C. I had foot surgery in July 2023 and now have permanent screws in my feet. No infection from that surgery. I understand infection risk. It comes with all surgeries. If you’re looking for a doctor that doesn’t disclose possible obstacles, this is your man. I might mention that this happened 12 days before my scheduled surgery. He came so highly recommended. So disappointed

Dr. Tucker is the best?? I put off having a total hip replacement for two years. I had moderate arthritis and three anterior labrum tears of right hip. I had conservative tx of PT, injections, arthritis medicine did help. I had anterior total hip replacement on July 21 th 2020 and at three hours post operative I was walking with out pain around the nurses station. I had 5 home visits and they said I didn’t need home health. I’m pain free and only used walker for 5 days. I really recommend Dr. Tucker?? I really like his protocol & navaigation nurse app also. Thanks for making my life wonderful ?? Noemi Chinchilla

I had a total knee replacement on a knee with 6 prior surgeries. He explained the procedure thoroughly and what to expect afterwards. The surgery was a great success and I am thrilled I had it and that Dr. Tucker was the one who did it. The knee feels better than it has in decades.

Full knee replacement surgery went extremely well. Dr Tucker and his team at the Methodist Hospital for Surgery were fantastic. Nice to go to a hospital that does surgeries only. Recovery time was 1/3 of what I was told. I would gladly recommend Dr Tucker and his team to anyone considering knee replacement!

Absolute nightmare experience, Checked in online early arrived at 12;39 pm for a 1;00 pm appointment. Dr Tucker was over 2 hours late seeing me after 3;00 pm. I almost walked out several times. He never once even apologized for being 2 hours late. My time is valuable too Dr Tucker, not just your time. His staff was confused overworked, overbooked, could not even download my simple knee x-rays on their computer either. Go somewhere else if you value your time.

Dr. Tucker uses the new anterior approach for hip replacement surgery which has less trauma and shorter recovery time. He also prescribes physical therapy for 4 weeks PRIOR to surgery to strengthen the muscles around the surgery joint, and over the counter supplements including iron, vitamin C and multipurpose vitamin which all contribute to higher success rate for surgery and recovery. Result: I was walking unassisted within 7 days, outpatient PT at 14 days and back to work day 20!!!

I really like Dr. Tucker. He has a great bedside manner and is very good at what he does. The staff are nice at the front desk but are super busy. The Tech that does preliminary questions and X-ray Tech are super nice. I wouldn't go to anyone else personally.
