Biography: Travis Austin Doering, MD, received his undergraduate education from Amherst College with a bachelor of the arts in biology and computer science. Prior to attending medical school, he performed two years of immunology research at the University of Pennsylvania, focusing on bioinformatics.Dr. Doering received his medical degree from the Barbara and Donald Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra University in 2015, graduating with a distinction in research, and completed his internship in general surgery (2016) and four-year residency in orthopedic surgery (2020) at Northwell Health, where he served his final year as chief resident.During his residency, Dr. Doering earned several accolades including Resident of the Year in 2017. After his residency, Dr. Doering completed a fellowship in hand and upper extremity surgery at the prestigious Campbell Clinic at the University of Tennessee HSC.Dr. Doering specializes in the operative and nonoperative management of hand and upper extremity disorders, including traumatic conditions, arthritis, and sports-related conditions. He has special interests in upper extremity fracture care, shoulder arthritis, tendon and nerve repairs, carpal tunnel and other nerve compression syndromes, and reconstructive surgery of the hand. He has additional interests in the arthroscopic management of many wrist and shoulder conditions, including injuries to the labrum, rotator cuff, and triangular fibrocartilage complex (TFCC) in the wrist.Dr. Doering is an active member of the medical staff at St. David's hospitals as well as with clinic locations in South Austin, Bastrop, and San Marcos. Dr. Doering has produced multiple publications, including textbook chapters, review articles, and peer-reviewed journal articles on a wide range of orthopedic conditions. His research has been presented at the national meetings of several orthopedic societies. Care Philosophy: Dr. Fox specializes in orthopaedic surgery. He is fellowship trained in orthopaedic trauma and reconstruction, with a special interest in complex fractures and joint replacement, both primary and revision. He has experience with minimally invasive surgeries as well as percutaneous stabilization of pelvis and acetabulum fractures. Additional training at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital in Norwich, England has provided Dr. Fox with a variety of experiences and perspectives on injuries to the musculoskeletal system and their treatment. Biography: Dr. Kilbride has practiced orthopaedic medicine in Austin since August 2002, with a focus on sports medicine and total joint replacement. Dr. Kilbride is currently part of the medical team for Formula One, MotoGP, and the X Games as well. Dr. Kilbride is an active member of the teaching faculty of Dell Medical School's Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program where he is working to advance the field of musculoskeletal care and training the next generation of physicians and surgeons.
