He finds it rewarding to gain his patients' trust and to assist them to maintain their independence through better vision. _x000D_ Dr. Gokhale was an assistant professor and director of the Glaucoma Service in the Department of Ophthalmology at the Medical College of Georgia from 2000 to 2006. He was named among the Best Doctors in America (2005-2006) and a Top Doctor by Seattle Metropolitan magazine in 2019. _x000D_ Away from work, Dr. Gokhale enjoys spending time with family and friends, and likes tennis, golf, swimming and bowling.

Biography: Connie Chen, MD, is a board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in medical and surgical diseases of the retina and vitreous, including age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachments and retinal dystrophies. _x000D_ Dr. Chen enjoys getting to know her patients and to contribute to their quality of life through better vision. _x000D_ Dr. Chen is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Retinal Specialists, and Association for Vision and Ophthalmology. _x000D_ Away from work, she enjoys figure skating, hiking and traveling.
