Biography: Dr. Huang is a fellowship-trained abdominal organ transplant surgeon. and is board certified by the American Board of Surgery. He earned his medical degree at Washington University in St. Louis, MO and completed his residency at the University of South Florida in Tampa. Dr. Huang then went on to complete a fellowship with the LifeLink Transplant Institute in Tampa. He currently serves as the surgical director of renal transplantation for Tampa General Medical Group and is the vice chief of general surgery at Tampa General Hospital. Dr. Huang also holds an affiliate assistant professor appointment from the USF Health Morsani College of Medicine, department of surgery. In his spare time, he enjoys tennis, basketball, violin and photography. Dr. Huang is also fluent in Mandarin Chinese, Taiwanese, Spanish and French.

Biography: Dr. Pearson completed her medical degree and a residency in general surgery at the USF Health Morsani College of Medicine. During her residency she was awarded TGH Resident of the Month by the TGH nursing staff. Dr. Pearson went on to complete a fellowship in abdominal transplant surgery at Tampa General Medical Group where she gained extensive surgical experience. She is board certified in general surgery. Dr. Pearson has been involved in research activities including complications of renal transplantation and innovations in dialysis access, presenting her research at national conferences.

Care Philosophy: David DiPiazza, M.D., is certified with the American Board of Urology since 2006. He is the only Urologist in Pinellas and Pasco who is also Board Certified in Urogynecology. In 2010 he was Chief of Surgery. He completed his undergraduate training with honors of cum laude at Cornell University. His residency training included: Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, The Cancer Institute of New Jersey and Princeton Medical Center. With 6 years of formal surgical training in New Jersey his experience includes all aspects of Urologic cancer, male and female urology, and robotic surgery. He takes care of diverse problems: from male problems with urination (BPH) to female overactive bladder (OAB) and urinary incontinence to kidney stones, UTI s and male and female Urologic cancer. He also performs a no needle no scalpel vasectomy in the office. Dr. DiPiazza was the first Urologist to break new ground in the use of the da Vinic Robotic Surgical System in Pasco County. Dr. DiPiazza performs robotic sacrocolpopexy for pelvic organ prolapse (dropped bladder or rectum), prostatectomy, partial nephrectomy, radical cystectomy, and many other surgeries using the robot. Care Philosophy: Khaled Shahrour, MD is a board-certified and fellowship-trained minimally invasive urologist who has been practicing for nearly 15 years. His main interests include urologic cancers, medical and surgical management of kidney stones, general urology and minimally invasive surgery including prostatectomy, nephrectomy, and cystectomy. He is also a member of the American Urologic Association, Endourologic Society, and South Eastern Section of the American Urologic Association. Dr. Shahrour believes the best outcome in treatment of urological disorders is the result of a team-based approach and effctive communication with his patients. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and stays active playing soccer, squash and golf. He is also an avid fan of Chelsea Football Club. Dr. Shahrour is also multilingual in English, Arabic, Spanish and French.
