Biography: Dr. Toumbis is a board certified, fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in cervical, thoracic and lumbar surgery. After completing his residency at the University of Florida, Dr. Toumbis furthered his sub-specialty training in Spine Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic.He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is an active member of the North American Spine Society. Care Philosophy: As a Spine and pain management specialist, my goal is to help restore function (physical as well as cognitive) utilizing a multidisciplinary approach with application of advanced interventional techniques (including fluoroscopy and ultrasound guidance), medication therapies (including membrane stabilizers), and psychotherapeutics. My main focus is finding the root cause of the pain and treating the cause rather than masking it with medication.
