He may be good BUT
I had gone on referral from my Dr. on Sept 30, 2024. Dr. G referred me to physical therapy. I attended pt and ended up hurting my arm. Nov 25 went to see Dr. G and my arm was hurting more than original diagnosis. December 18, 2025 still in pain, I called my Dr and they needed notes from Dr. G's office. As of today, January 10, 2025 my Dr. STILL doesn't have report. I was told Dr. G is behind on dictation and he 'handwrites his notes' Dr. G's office did want to make me another appointment, which I declined. I have totally lost faith in him as a Dr. I'm the one living with the pain of not only my first diagnosis, but now pain from pt.

I believe doctor Giannakopoulos, Is the best doctor I've ever met. He is very professional. And kind and caring. I was nervous looking for a doctor who could help with my spine problems, and the very first time I met him, he made me comfortable And able to relax while he helped relieve my pain and issues.

No concern for patients or appreciation for the pain they are experiencing. Negligence is the only word to describe what has been done to my friend who saw Dr. Giannakopoulos recently. After seeing the doctor, he was given an appointment for the following week for an epidural that would relieve his EXTREME leg pain (that leaves him practically immobile and unable to sleep) only to be told the day before the epidural that he has to wait two more weeks due to a “doctor’s error”. This is a man that walked two miles a day, bowled, drove...everything until six weeks ago. He was so excited and counting the days to get some relief and have his life back again, and now he’s waiting two more weeks. I’m as concerned for his mental state of mind as much as I am his physical pain. He’s giving up. Unfortunate that one doctor can do this to the elderly. No, I would not recommend this doctor to my family or friends.

Dr G went way out of his way by delaying his vacation in order to add me to his schedule and in a couple of days the horrible pain was gone. He’s got a heart to match his skills!

It took 3 weeks to get an appointment with the Dr, and it cost me $200 with insurance just to get a script to have an MRI. Summit Imaging had to cancel with me 2X because they said that they never received anything from the Dr. I called and spoke to Kristen who actually lied to me and hung up on me, I then spoke to Lydia and explained about Kristen and she laughed at me and promised a call back after the Dr dictated his notes as to why i needed the MRI. Its now been about three weeks and I am still waiting for Lydia to call me back. This office is the worst I have ever been to, and its a shame because I really liked the Dr I hope the Dr does see this so that he can see what kind of people he has working for him. I may even send a letter to his office

I had spine and neck surgery in august of 2019. The surgeries were done at same time. I would strongly plead w you NOT TO HAVE THEM DONE AT SAME TIME. it is very CRUEL! YOU NEED YOUR ARMS TO MOVE YOUR HIPS ,which in turn puts pressure up ypur neck!!! The HEaling process is still not going well. Terrible , in fact my doc sent me for another opinion and I need another surgery!!!! Since he has become the chief of staff at bayonet point his quality of care and his lack in interest to fix whatever he did to make it so i can walk more than 50 feet without excrusiating pain is useless! He came up behind me and to my surprise poked my sides and when i jumped he said oh its in your hips you need to go get an injection. And he didnt do that there! I thought he was ridiculous in his haste to blame my hips when the pain is in my spine and groin and all down my leg. Cat scan done now need an mri then to another surgeon! My quality of life has been terribly painful. Id choose another Doctor First!

Very good surgeon. Very caring and explains everything. I had very serious back surgery. Very long incision and multiple problems. Went from hospital to rehab. Long time getting strong again but pain is Totally gone and i will be back to normal. I am sure my advanced age had to do with my longer recovery

Dr. G. was there for us 4 years ago.. recommended surgery for my husband with a Menniginoma brain tumor! Husband refused care. 4 years later Dr. G. was there for us again.. The tumor had been stable and surgery was a smashing success as Dr. G. got the whole tumor out! Let's all say a prayer for Dr. G. as he continues to save people's lives.. Ellen M. Donahue, Teal

Ruined my grandma’s life and ruined plenty of other people’s lives by doing so. My grandma had surgery to have a brain tumor removed. She now cannot walk, she eats from a bag, pees in a bag, poops in a bag. She can move one arm and nothing else, literally. She cannot even hold up her head. She lives in hell on earth. It’s the hardest thing in the world to watch the person you love most suffer. Thank you Dr.G for making so many of us suffer worse than we could’ve ever imagined. STAY AWAY!

George Ginnakopoulos left my grandma a paraplegic after performing back surgery on her. He told her she needed physical therapy when she told him she couldn't feel her legs. She never walked again and eventually died from a bedsore infection.

When spinal injections no longer helped I found myself faced with spinal surgery. I was hesitant about back surgery but was in enough pain that I was willing to take the chance. Dr Giannakopoulus never pressed the issue and let me make my own decision to go forward with surgery. He patiently explained what he would do, what he could and could not "fix".I left the hospital the next day feeling much improved. I would recommend Dr Giannakopoulos to anyone. He is truthful, caring, and efficient!
