With extensive experience in total hip and knee replacements, Dr. Aguiar's special interests also include arthroscopic shoulder instability repair, ankle arthroscopy, and total knee replacements.

Biography: Finding great satisfaction in watching someone recover from an injury and return to living, Dr. David Novak chose the field of orthopaedic surgery because he wanted to have a direct impact on the quality of life of his patients. After earning a BA in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Novak received his medical degree from Georgetown University where he was named a member of Alpha Omega Alpha, the National Medical Honor Society. He remained in Washington, DC, at Georgetown University Medical Center to complete a residency in orthopaedic surgery. He then completed advanced fellowship training in sports medicine and arthroscopy at the Southern California Orthopedic Institute in Van Nuys, California. Dr. Novak worked intensively with some of the best sports and arthroscopic surgeons in the country during his fellowship training and today is able to perform advanced arthroscopic techniques for a number of orthopaedic problems. His special interests include sports medicine and sports injuries, complex problems of the shoulder, elbow, knee, and ankle, arthroscopic rotator cuff repair, arthroscopic shoulder stabilization for loose or dislocating shoulder, ACL and ligament reconstruction, meniscus repair, and cartilage restoration of the knee, and adult joint reconstruction.

Biography: Originally from Louisville, Kentucky, Dr. Andrew Parker was drawn to orthopaedics out of a desire to help people of all ages regain lost function and return to the activities or sports they enjoy. After earning a BS in Biology and Chemistry from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Dr. Parker returned to his hometown and graduated magna cum laude from medical school at the University of Louisville. He then moved to Chicago where he completed his internship and residency in orthopaedic surgery at Northwestern University. Dr. Parker concluded his formal medical education by completing a fellowship in sports medicine at the Baylor Sports Medicine Institute in Houston, Texas. Fascinated by the technical aspects of his specialty, Dr. Parker likes the challenges of the ever-changing field of orthopaedics. He especially enjoys the doctor-patient relationships that he has developed because he feels most orthopaedic patients are ``motivated and proactive about their recovery.`` As an active and respected participant in many professional medical organizations, Dr. Parker has delivered numerous presentations and educational seminars at orthopaedic conferences around the country. Currently, Dr. Parker serves as a team physician for the Washington Redskins. He also has significant experience in the area of sports medicine having cared for athletes from the Chicago Bears, Chicago Cubs, Chicago Blackhawks, and Northwestern University. Additionally, he served as team physician for DC United and he served as assistant team physician for the Houston Texans, Houston Astros, and the University of Houston while doing his fellowship.

He performs Arthroscopic sports medicine procedures including ACL, Rotator Cuff, Labrum Repair, Instability Repair Surgeries and Robotic Knee, Hip, and Shoulder Replacement Surgeries.

Care Philosophy: He finds it very fulfilling to see patients return to participating in many of their favorite activities after a successful joint replacement. Additionally, the field is constantly evolving and he enjoys staying current on the latest advancements in areas like robotic surgery and computer navigation.

Care Philosophy: Dr. Switaj is dedicated to providing personal, state-of-the-art care specifically for the foot and ankle. He utilizes a wide range of both non-operative and operative treatments in order to improve his patients function and quality of life.

Biography: Dr. David Lee specializes in hand and upper extremity surgery. He chose orthopedic surgery because, by studying and mastering the incredible complex anatomy of the musculoskeletal system, he could help people return to their normal form and function. His goal as an orthopedist is to get patients back to doing the activities they love and to help them live pain-free. We have many treatments options to offer patients, including therapy, injections, and surgery, if needed. Most of all, Dr. Lee looks forward to forming meaningful relationships with his patients, answering their questions, and involving them in shared decision making. In his free time, Dr. Lee enjoys traveling with his wife, hiking, running, and cycling.

Biography: Dr. James Reeves, MD is an Orthopedic Surgery Specialist who practices in Centreville, VA. He is 48 years old. Dr. James Reeves, MD is affiliated with Reston Hospital Center and Stonesprings Hospital Center.

Biography: Dr. Rishi Gogineni is a board certified, fellowship trained Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in hip and knee replacements. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He utilizes modern techniques in his surgical practice including anterior approach total hip replacements, muscle-sparing total knee replacements, and robotic surgery for accurate implant placement. He is experienced in and has published research on outpatient joint replacement with same day discharge to home. For patients who may not be ready for surgery yet, he offers non-surgical arthritis treatments. He is happy to see patients for second opinions or consultations. Dr. Gogineni lives in Loudoun County with his wife and four kids and their chocolate lab.
