Biography: Dr. Jeffrey Gleimer specializes in the surgical and non-surgical treatment of Spinal Disorders involving the Neck and Back, utilizing Microsurgical and Minimally Invasive Techniques. Dr. Gleimer was born and raised in Southern New Jersey. He attended Emory University in Atlanta, GA and graduated with honors earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. After graduating from Emory University, Dr. Gleimer earned his Medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey – School of Osteopathic Medicine at Stratford, NJ. While attending UMDNJ-SOM, he focused his intersts in Orthopedic Surgery through his involvement in research in the field. After graduating from medical school he completed his residency in Orthopedic Surgery at UMDNJ at Cooper University Hospital, the Kennedy Health system, and Our Lady of Lourdes medical center. Dr. Gleimer is fellowship trained in Spinal Surgery completing his specialty training at the Southern California Orthopedic Institute in Los Angeles with some of nations leading spine surgeons. He specializes in complex spinal surgery involving the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine. During his fellowship he gained expertise with innovative surgical techniques with a focus on minimally invasive techniques allowing for shorter recovery times, reduced pain, and a rapid return to an active healthy lifestyle. To further his understanding of the spine and musculoskeletal system, Dr. Gleimer completed a second fellowhip in orthopedic trauma surgery through the AO foundation at the University Hospital in Basel, Switzerland. He worked with world renowned trauma surgeons who lead research on human stem cell utilization in traumatic injury recovery. Dr. Jeffrey Gleimer is available to see patients in the Cherry Hill and Washington Township offices.

Biography: As a former intercollegiate soccer athlete, Dr. Lisa Kaplin has enthusiasm for all things sports- and fitness-related.This passion carries into her practice as a physician and surgeon, where she helps patients get back to competitive sports, recreation and fitness.Having enjoyed biology and other sciences while an undergrad at Brandeis University, Dr. Kaplin was particularly drawn to the field of medicine by a fascination with the ability of her fellow athletes to both avoid and overcome injury.Afterward, she went on to earn a masters in medical science from Boston University followed by a D.O. from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. During the course of her early career Dr. Kaplin covered teams in hockey, rugby, basketball and football. In 2019, she completed a fellowship in orthopedic sports medicine at Wake Forest University College of Medicine.Dr. Kaplin will tell you that the patient is the priority all the time. She works to create an environment of trust and understanding, so that they feel comfortable and confident as partners in their care.In her free time she enjoys exercising and spending time with her family. She is married and has two children; a 5 year old daughter and a 3 year old son.

Biography: Dr. Miller, a native of the Philadelphia suburbs, spent the majority of his childhood growing up in southern California before returning to Pennsylvania where he finished his high school years at Malvern Prep in Malvern, Pennsylvania. He played varsity soccer and competed in both trap and skeet shooting. He continued his education at Duke University where he majored in Economics, graduating with honors. Dr. Miller attended the Sidney Kimmel Medical College from 2009-2013. He was elected into the Hobart Amory Hare Medical Society for achieving high honors in pre-clinical education, the Samuel Gross Surgical Society for excellence in surgical clerkship, as well as the Alpha Omega Alpha Honors Society. Additionally, he served as president of his medical fraternity, Alpha Kappa Kappa. Upon completion of medical school, he completed his orthopedic residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital where he spent time training with both the Rothman Institute as well as the Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder Center. Dr. Miller received numerous awards for research during his residency and was honored by the hand association with the best research paper award in 2018. Dr. Miller completed a Hand and Microvascular Surgery Fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN in 2018. He was awarded the Alice Jensen Hand Fellowship award during his time there. During both his residency and fellowship, he also spent time working on and patenting a wound care device and continued to be involved in entrepreneurial work in the healthcare field. Immediately after completion of his fellowship, he spent several weeks abroad in Central America and Europe studying under pioneers in the field of peripheral nerve and arthroscopy before returning to Philadelphia to join his former mentors and colleagues at the Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder Center. Dr. Miller's clinical and research interests include upper extremity trauma, brachial plexus and peripheral nerve repair, as well as wrist arthroscopy and wrist injury. Dr. Miller also enjoys donating his time and raising funds for medical mission trips in central and South America, where he has made numerous mission trips, a passion that he will remain involved with during his career. Outside of his professional work, Dr. Miller enjoys creative writing and playing competitive tennis and soccer. He is also an avid Philadelphia sports fan.
