Our doctors perform all the procedures and patients get to spend quality time with the doctors and never feel rushed. Appointments are easy and usually scheduled on the same day or within 1-2 days. Biography: Born and raised in southern New Jersey, Dr. Saltzman discovered her love for podiatric medicine and surgery after suffering a number of her own foot and ankle injuries as a high school soccer player and hurdler. She received her Bachelor's degree in Nutritional Science at the University of Maryland – College Park and spent a semester abroad studying at the National University of Ireland in Galway, Ireland. She went on to attend Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine and completed a four-year foot and ankle residency program at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, specializing in Limb Salvage, Reconstructive Surgery and Trauma. She and Dr. Vonherbulis were actually co-residents! She started her career in private practice in West Chester, PA. Dr. Saltzman has quickly fallen in love with the local area and is excited to give back to the community she now calls home. She is dedicated to both educating her patients about their foot and ankle conditions and helping them get back on their feet as quickly as possible. Dr. Saltzman's personal interests include spending time with her family and friends, staying active, going to the beach, cooking and watching sports (her loyalty will forever remain with the Yankees and NY Giants!). She currently resides in Sarasota with her husband, Ryan and daughters, Scarlett and Mackenzie. The Saltzman family wouldn't be complete without their two crazy dogs and cat.
