Doctor Moor saw things on my x-ray from a different doctor, that they never saw. Even on the MRI ! He spent time explaining everything to me. Very nice guy.

Today was my 8 weeks check up after having my hip replaced with the Superpath technique by Dr John Moor. I’m doing very well, can easily walk independently with no pain, and can move any way I want with no restrictions. My scar is healed and is only 5 inches long. I’m cleared to go back to work and do whatever I want to do. This has been the most serious procedure I’ve ever had done, and it was painful for the first week, but they gave me enough pain killers to handle it. There were only mild physical therapy exercises to help strengthen muscles. This procedure is less invasive than others, so there wasn't the need for intense PT. The office was always very supportive and friendly. Dr. Moor is a great surgeon but also kind and compassionate. We got along very well. He never pressured me to have anything done. I was always given the options and made my own decisions. This was a very positive thing that I did for myself and my future mobility. I’m very happy with the outcome.

I had an excellent consultation with Dr. Moor on Friday. He took the time to go through my imaging with me, physical exam skills 10 out of 10, accurate assessment with physical exam without reproduction or creating pain, listened to my concerns of my hyper-lax tissues, and answered all my questions regarding my treatment options. He did not push for surgery or interventions, but rather provided me with options. Of course stressed the importance of conservative PT prior and after surgery if I so choose. He gave me honest and straight forward answers regarding activity and sport limitations without going through reconstruction surgery. He is excellent at patient education with in depth knowledge of knee arthrokinematics related to sports and general movement.He listened to my goals and treated me like a person rather than a number. Front desk staff were kind, happy, and knowledgeable. Again, great experience and I’m happy I went.

The atmosphere was friendly. Dr. Moor and the staff went out of their way to make me feel relaxed .
