With more than 25 years of OB/GYN experience, he specializes in advanced, minimally invasive surgical techniques and was the first surgeon in the Central Virginia region to perform vaginal hysterectomy, sacrocolpopexy, and myomectomy procedures using the robotic da Vinci® Surgical System. In addition, Dr. Prillaman provides well woman care and treats a wide range of gynecologic and urogynecologic conditions, as well as managing both routine and high-risk pregnancies. He is a member of the Richmond Academy of Medicine, the Medical Society of Virginia and the American Institute of Ultrasound Medicine. He has also participated in several research studies for a variety of OB/GYN issues including endometriosis, heavy menstrual flow, decreased libido, and menopausal symptoms .Outside of his practice, Dr. Prillaman enjoys spending time with his wife and four children.
