Biography: Dr. Joseph Scott is a Psychiatrist in Maine who has been practicing since 2016. He has a Bachelor™s of Science, Psychology Major, Pre-Med Track from Northeastern University, went to Medical School at University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine, and completed his Residency in Psychiatry from Rowan University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Scott strives to treat the whole person, not just one or two symptoms. He gets to know his patients and listens to everything they have to tell him. Dr. Scott then likes to educate them about what he sees and how the different treatment options can help. In this way they can make good decisions about treatment and goals. Outside of work, Dr. Scott enjoys live performances, from Broadway shows to small community theater and from stadium concerts to small intimate venues. He is a gardener, a fisherman, a player of games, and a cook. His wife says he is a collector of junk, but they enjoy combing the beach together looking for treasures.
