Her clinical interests include contraception management, adolescent care, and minimally invasive surgery. Dr. Whitfield received her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky in 2017. In 2021 she completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, where she served as Administrative Chief Resident in her final year and was awarded Resident of the Year and Outstanding Resident in Minimally Invasive Surgery. She is a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and the Society of Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgeons.
