Biography: Medicine is a second career for Dr. Nathan Givens, one that he finds very fulfilling and one that provides the teamwork that he he felt was missing in his first job. He feels fortunate to participate in some of the most amazing and challenging moments in women's lives. Obstetrics and gynecology is a specialty that allows Dr. Givens to establish lasting relationships with his patients. He loves everything from counseling adolescents and young couples about contraception and preventive care, to helping women with abnormal bleeding and pelvic pain, and working closely with families to welcome their new babies. In his free time Dr. Givens enjoys spending time with his wife and children. They love to go for walks and traveling together.

Biography: Dr. Meaghan Aalto, MD is an Obstetrics & Gynecology Specialist in Lexington, NC and has over 12 years of experience in the medical field. Dr. Aalto has extensive experience in Obstetric Care and Gynecologic Conditions. She graduated from Ross University / School of Medicine Veterinary Medicine in 2011. She is affiliated with medical facilities such as Novant Health Rowan Medical Center and Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center. Her office accepts new patients and telehealth appointments.

Biography: Dr. Avery-Benjamin's experiences as a young teen on the labor and delivery floor in a hospital volunteer program helped shape her passion for providing excellent care for women and children. During her residency, she received awards for excellence in teaching and administration, as well as an award from the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists for special excellence in endoscopic procedures. Dr. Avery is interested in teen and young woman wellness, preventive healthcare and minimally invasive surgery techniques. In her free time, Dr. Avery enjoys spending time with her husband, Derek, and their daughter, traveling, relaxing on the beach, reading, listening to music and participating in community service.
