He completed fellowship training in Gastroenterology from Bronx-Lebanon Hospital affiliated with Albert Einstein Medical School in New York. Dr. Desai also has Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of South Florida, Tampa. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He has been in private practice in Pinellas County since 1992. He is a member of American College of Gastroenterology and American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. Dr. Desai practices all aspects of Gastroenterology with special interest in colon cancer screening, therapeutic biliary endoscopy, small intestine capsule endoscopy and liver disease.
