He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from St. George's University. Dr. Patel went on to complete his Internal Medicine residency and Gastroenterology Fellowship at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School (NJ), where he served as Chief Fellow for 2019-2020. Dr. Patel is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He has a special interest in chronic liver disease and has expertise in all facets of general Gastroenterology.

Care Philosophy: My practice focus is on inpatient hospital based gastroenterology care, with a special interest in Endoscopic Ultrasound and Biliary Disease. I follow evidence based medical guidelines so that patients can recieve cost effective, high quality medical care.
