Excellent Surgeon
Dr. Smith has performed emergency surgery on me twice and literally has saved my life twice. Both visits to Thomasville Medical Center Emergency Department I had 30 - 60 minutes to live. Fortunately for me Dr. Smith was on call both times. With my 2nd unfortunate trip to the E.D. I told them I would only have surgery if Dr. Smith would do my surgery (even with my life at stake). Dr. Smith was on call and saved my life again. Very blessed to have him both times.

Very Trustworthy
I was very impressed with Dr. Mark Smith from the beginning. His honesty and desire to take time to answer all my questions. He did my gallbladder surgery, diagnosed my inflammatory breast cancer, and also put my port-a-cath in for chemo treatments. Every time before we go into surgery he says let's pray and that goes a long way with me. I will be seeing him about breasts removal surgery soon. I highly recommend him to anybody.

Best Surgeon in this area, I would recommend him for anything, for anyone, I had 4 surgeries, pacemaker procedure, gallbladder removed, pacemaker replaced 10 yrs, battery was getting weak, replaced with a new pacemaker, just recently had appendix removed. He has been there for me & my family every time we have needed him.

Dr. Smith did my gall bladder surgery 5 years ago. His bedside manner was great and he show caring kindness and compassion. He also treated my mother-in-law for many years. She loved him and was the one doctor she looked forward to going to see. I highly recommend him and his staff to anyone.
