He earned his medical degree from NYU School of Medicine and completed his orthopaedic residency at the University of Miami Jackson Memorial Hospital. Following his residency, Dr. Prasarn finished a Fellowship in Orthopaedic Trauma at the Hospital for Special Surgery. He then went on to complete the Louis A. Goldstein Spinal Surgery fellowship at the University of Rochester Medical Center. Additionally, he has been a visiting fellow at MD Anderson Cancer Institute. He has worked as a full professor and clinical surgeon here in Houston for the past 13 years.
