Biography: Dr. Ghalyaie is board certified and fellowship trained in colon and rectal surgery. She specializes in treating diseases and disorders of the colon, rectum and anus, including cancer and hereditary cancer syndromes, inflammatory bowel disease, and complex anorectal conditions. He received his undergraduate degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, his medical degree from Stony Brook University School of Medicine. Biography: Brett Armstrong, MD, is a board-certified general surgeon. Dr. Armstrong treats patients 18 and older and is bilingual in English and Spanish. He performs robot-assisted and minimally invasive surgeries such as appendectomies, hernia repair, cyst removal, gall bladder removal and more. Dr. Armstrong earned his undergraduate degree at Florida State University before attending medical school at FSU College of Medicine. He went on to complete a residency in general surgery at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah. Dr. Armstrong previously served as Director of Robotics and Chief of Surgery at St. Josephs Hospital-North in Tampa. Dr. Armstrong takes a thorough and precise approach to his consultations to ensure that he is consistently giving accurate diagnoses.
