Care Philosophy: Dr Julian Sanchez is a colorectal surgeon in the Department of Gastrointestinal Oncology at Moffitt Cancer Center. He is Associate Professor of Surgery and Associate Professor of Oncologic Sciences at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine. He is board certified in both general surgery and in colorectal surgery. Dr Sanchez's clinical interests include colon and rectal cancer, anal cancer, high resolution anoscopy, genetic cancer syndromes, and minimally invasive surgery. His research centers on HPV infection and associated anal cancer. He is especially interested in the progression of anal dysplasia in immunosuppression and in screening programs for high risk patients.

Biography: Dr. Oppenheimer is a Board-Certified General Surgeon specializing in weight loss surgery and minimally invasive interventions and has been in surgical practice more than 10 years. His main interests include treating patients with morbid obesity, GERD, and hernias. Dr. Oppenheimer also centers focus on malignancies of the gastro-intestinal tract, including gastric and colon cancer, as well as caring for patients with breast cancer and melanoma. His compromise is to develop new treatment strategies tailored individually for patients to provide high quality patient centered care that is compassionate and personalized.

Care Philosophy: Dr Seth Felder is a board-certified colon and rectal surgical oncologist Associate Member in the Department of Gastrointestinal Oncology at Moffitt Cancer Center. Following fellowship colon and rectal surgical training at the University of Minnesota, he then pursued additional training at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in Advanced Colorectal Surgical Oncology. He understands the fears patients face with his/her diagnosis, specifically regarding the functional and psychological impact that may result from surgery. He focuses on these important aspects of a patient's quality of life, and when possible, he uses nerve-sparing surgical techniques that can help to preserve anal, bladder, and sexual function.

Care Philosophy: Xavier F Cannella, MD, FACS is a peripheral vascular and general surgeon. He began his practice after completing his vascular fellowship in his native Tampa in 1991. He is certified by the America Board of Surgery and The American Board of Wound Healing. He is a Fellow of the America College of Surgeons, a member of The Florida Vascular Society, Vascular Access Society of America and The Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society. He is fluent in Spanish and sees patients ages 18 years and older.
