Biography: Sheena Bhuva, M.D., A Plano, Texas native, has joined the Texas Back Institute as a Physiatrist. She completed her Interventional Spine and Musculoskeletal Medicine Fellowship at Desert Spine and Sports Physicians in Phoenix, Arizona. She earned her Doctorate of Medicine at Texas A & M Health Science Center College of Medicine, Bryan and Dallas, TX in 2013. She completed her Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Residency, where she was Chief Resident at Baylor University Medical Center, Baylor Institute for Rehabilitation, Dallas, TX.Her recent Honors include the Arnold P. Gold Humanism and Excellence in Teaching Award (1 of 3 PM&R residents who have won this award from 2004-2016), the American Academy of Neurology Medical Student Prize for Excellence in Neurology, and The Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago Sarah Baskin Award for Excellence in Research.She is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the Spine Intervention Society, the North American Spine Society, and The Texas Medical Association.Dr. Bhuva enjoys spending time with her family and friends playing board games and trying new restaurants. She also loves to travel and stay active by playing basketball and hiking. She has a second degree black belt in USA Martial Arts.

Biography: Andrew Chambers, MD is a board certified andfellowship trained orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in joint replacementsurgery. He received extensive training in joint replacement surgery during hisfellowship at Harvard Medical School / Massachusetts General Hospital, whichwas voted as the top hospital in the United States. Dr. Chambers has a specialinterest in MAKOplasty Robotic assisted knee and hip replacement surgery andhas performed several thousand joint replacements during his career.The MAKOplastyprocedure is changing the way joint replacement surgeries are performed byproviding each patient with a personalized surgical experience based on theirspecific diagnosis and unique anatomy using CT-based 3D modeling. The roboticarm technology allows for extremely precise placement of hip/knee replacementcomponents with potentially less soft tissue injury than traditional jointreplacement.Dr. Chambers hasimplemented the techniques learned at Harvard Medical School into his ownpractice and offers minimally invasive total hip / knee / shoulder replacement,partial knee replacement, revision surgery for malfunctioning, loose, andinfected joint replacements, and arthroscopic surgery of the hip, knee, andshoulder. Dr. Chambers focuses special attention on surgical techniques forrapid recovery after total joint replacement which allow his patients a morepredictable and earlier return to an active lifestyle.Dr. Chambers is aTexas native and grew up in Houston, Texas. He attended medical school at TheUniversity of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, and completed residency atJohn Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas. After his fellowship at HarvardMedical School, Dr. Chambers moved to the DFW area where he has been inpractice since 2016. In his free time, Dr. Chambers enjoys traveling andspending time with friends and family. He is an avid sailor and enjoysparticipating in sailing races on the local lakes in the Dallas/Fort Wortharea.

Biography: Christopher W. Flowers, MD is a board-certified and sports medicine fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon at Texas Bone & Joint in Denton, Texas. He specializes in the treatment and prevention of sports and non-sports-related injuries to the shoulder, elbow, hand and wrist, knee, and foot and ankle.A fourth-generation physician from Plano, Texas, Dr. Flowers providers sports medicine expertise as a team physician for Ryan High School, Denton High School, and other local High Schools in the surrounding Denton Area. He is also the orthopedic consultant for the University of North Texas in Denton and Texas Women's University in Denton athletes. In his free time, Dr. Flowers enjoys spending time with his family and participating in a variety of different sports. His wife is a dentist and he has two small children.
