Biography: Dr. Marco Uribe's gynecological practice at Austin Area OB/GYN and Fertility focuses on preventive care, preconception counseling, infertility, menopause, and the diagnosis and management of pelvic prolapse and urinary incontinence. This includes urodynamic bladder testing to better determine the specific causes of voiding dysfunction.Dr. Uribe has a special interest in bioidentical hormone replacement therapy. He has been working with bioidentical hormones for more than 20 years and focuses on replacement therapy that helps restore a women's hormone balance with the intent of achieving a better quality of life. Dr. Uribe also has an interest in both high risk and low risk Obstetrics. He specializes in minor invasive surgery options including the DAVINCI robotic laparoscopy that can significantly reduce a women's recovery time. He is assisted by his Physician Assistant Amy Grove, who is a graduate of the Medical College of Georgia. Amy has a special interest in Polycystic Ovary Syndrome and infertility treatments. Dr. Marco Uribe is a native of Laredo, Texas and received his undergraduate degree from Yale University and Medical Doctorate from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Dr. Uribe completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Baylor College of Medicine affiliated hospitals. He began his practice with Austin Area Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1994, after spending seven years at Kelsey-Seybold Clinic in Houston, Texas where he was Assistant Chief of Obstetrics & Gynecology. Dr. Uribe is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is also a member of the Texas Medical Association, the Travis County Medical Society, and a number of specialty-related organizations. He has held a clinical faculty position at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, and received numerous Faculty of the Year teaching awards for surgical instructional training. Dr. Uribe, as well as a number of his staff, are fluent in Spanish.

Biography: Dr. MacLeod has a passion for working with her patients to help them achieve optimal health. She enjoys listening and truly getting to know each of her patients as unique individuals.Dr. MacLeod earned a Bachelor of Science in molecular biology with high honors from the University of Texas at Austin. She then attended the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas for her medical degree, where she received membership to the AOA medical society, which recognizes the top 10% of graduating medical students. She completed her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas and served as administrative chief resident.Dr. Jessica MacLeod feels privileged to offer care across a woman's life span, including prenatal care and deliveries, vaginal and vulvar problems, surgery and post-menopausal disorders. She is particularly interested in minimally invasive robotic gynecologic surgery to minimize healing time for optimal outcomes.Dr. MacLeod is an Austin native who knows what it is like to be a working mother. She enjoys taking advantage of all the outdoor activities this city has to offer while spending time with her young family.
