Horrible
Horrible Experience… I am a high risk patient (I’ve loss three babies in 1 year) and this clinic was horrible with this knowledge. My 1st appointment was like 10 seconds because my pregnant Medicaid was pending. So then my Medicaid got approved but it was the wrong provider. So they canceled my appointment the following week and said they’ll see me the next week and then I showed up and the front desk secretary was like “O no we can’t see you probably until mid Jun”… I’m like my insurance is being switched over and you’ll get all your money. They didn’t care. All about money and not an once of concern about the health of my baby or myself. I asked well do you know someone who can see me until then. No answer. I wasted 4 weeks with this “all we care about is the money first clinic”.

Cas
I would not recommend this dr at all. He was pressuring me to have a hysterectomy when it wasn't medically necessary, its just something he wanted to do out of convenience. He literally told me this in 10 minutes after seeing him for the 1st time. The second time I went to see him I was adamant about not having one and I wanted another option. Then he changed his mind and decided on another option, after I told him I was refusing to have a hysterectomy. Please don't get these life changing surgeries because these Dr's pressure you to. Get a second opinion and listen to your intuition.

What the heck is going on why can’t I find Dr A he was the only Dr that knew my history! I thought I tracked him down to MedFirst on Fredericksburg. Had his picture up on their website and all. When I called to make an appointment they said his schedule was not open yet but should be any day now, when I checked back today he is not even listed anymore. I hope IFWH are not been jerks with a no compete clause. Only people who suffer with that are the patients. —— Tina Morales.

Dr. A has been my doctor for 20+ years. I like that he’s very straightforward and honest. Answers all my questions with explanations. He uses conventional treatment before recommending any surgery. Recommended a family member and friend and they were also pleased with their treatment.

I have been seeing Dr. Almendarez for over 20 years. I have never had issues with him or his staff. Visits might be short but if I have a concern or question he will listen and not rush. He performed my c-sections and hysterectomy. I have all my trust in him as a doctor.

Dr. Almendarez is an excellent physician and very knowledgeable about my condition (endometriosis) He has been very successful at managing my condition for the past 8 years without having to do a complete hysterectomy. He's very professional and always answers all of my questions. I recommend him to all my friends and family.

Dr. Almendarez was not my girlfriend's OBGYN but was the doctor on call when she went into labor. He was very rude and demanded for my girlfriend to push. He left my girlfriend with two very unnecessary cuts (according to the nurses), that went from the vagina to the rectum. While stitching her up, he was rough with the suture and tore them, causing him to start over. The frustration in his face during the whole procedure was obvious, and as soon as he was done he left, with no words spoken.

This is the worst doctor I have ever had! I was in hospital after delivering and got the worst UTI in my life. I have always been prone to getting UTI's so I knew what it was right away. It was 2 am and he was the doctor on call. He refused to start me on antibiotics until my urine culture (taken that day at 5pm) came back in 24 hours. I had blood in my urine! Why would you need a culture after years of medical school to diagnose a simple UTI? No common sense or compassion!
