Biography: Dr. Gary W. Schlichter earned dual degrees in Biological Sciences and Philosophy from UC Santa Barbara, followed by a Medical Degree from the Medical College of Virginia, where he graduated with honors. He completed his pediatric residency at Primary Childrens Medical Center in 2001. Dr. Schlichter is a board-certified pediatrician, a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, and a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Over the years, he has also contributed to multiple medical studies, furthering his commitment to evidence-based care.Though Dr. Schlichter enjoys all aspects of pediatrics, he has a particular focus on asthma management, ADHD, and newborn care.
