Biography: John "Jay" Kuemmerle, MD, AGAF, FACG, is a board-certified gastroenterologist with Advanced Gastroenterology Specialists in Richmond, Virginia. Dr. Jay Kuemmerle earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the College of William and Mary and his Doctor of Medicine from Eastern Virginia Medical School. He moved to Richmond to continue his internal medicine residency and a National Institutes of Health (NIH) research fellowship in gastroenterology at the MCV campus of Virginia Commonwealth University.
