I've been a patient at his practice since first settling in Virginia in 2012. I was then 62 or so, and I've remained their patient. Some reviewer said that Dr James didn't take new patients older than 65, and I doubt that's true. He admits to being a geriatric-oriented practice.

I began seeing Dr. James when I retired late last year. Due to Covid, my appointment in April was cancelled and everything including blood work was pushed back to June. So this was a routine visit.
I have referred both of my daughters to Dr. James since then. He and his staff are great.

Due to current conditions, visit was conducted via telephone. As a long time (30+years) patient of Dr. James I was comfortable with this arrangement. Thankfully I have not had any major health issues and our visit went smoothly.
