Biography: Dr. Homan completed his fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at NewYork-Presbyterian/Cornell, where he served as Chief Cardiology Fellow and undertook an additional year of laboratory training in cardiometabolic biology with Dr. James Lo. During his cardiology fellowship at Weill Cornell, he studied the role of the innate immune system in obesity-related liver disease and heart failure, and he received the Glorney-Raisbeck Fellowship Award in Cardiovascular Disease. In his PhD research at Harvard University, he discovered a new class of endogenous lipid molecules that he named fatty acyl hydroxy fatty acids (FAHFAs), which were ultimately found to have anti-diabetic and anti-inflammatory properties.Dr. Homan is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology, a diplomate of the American Board of Clinical Lipidology and a member of the National Lipid Association, and member of the American Society of Echocardiography. Biography: Dr. Feldman is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Cardiology of the Department of Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College and an Attending Physician at New York Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medical Center.Dr. Feldman grew up in Framingham, Massachusetts and completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Pennsylvania. She serves as the Director of the Cardio-Oncology program.Dr. Feldman is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases, Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology, and Cardio-Oncology.
