Dr. Santoyo was honored to represent the junior fellow division of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She served as ACOG district chair for the region during her second and third years of residency In 2009, as a second-year resident, Dr Santoyo created a mentoring program between senior and intern residents. Once an attending at North Shore Hospital, she also served as a faculty mentor for minority students and as a clinical preceptor for many nurse practitioners.
